Haven’t yet found time to watch Broken but Beautiful. Jab bhi kuch dekhne ka soochti hoon life becomes busy and time hi nahi milta. And jab free time hota hai/ tha there was nothing interesting to watch. My IB rewatch is also wahin ka wahin. Sigh!

But coincidentally I was just reading your “tumhein nahin pata tha?” Scene wala thread just a couple of days back and the VM opened with that very scene. So bhar bhar ke Shivika nostalgia .....

I totally understand the time restrictions. Even I’m pretty irregular with my IB rewatches. Time and mood pe depend karta hai. Some days I’m just too damn exhausted 😥😆

Yeah. That was such an impactful scene. It was a short scene but “tha karke” dil pe laga tha. The angst was totally on point. And after the nonsense that they were showing with the lame new entries post separation and complete senseless groupbaazi post merger when I was tearing my hair out in despair and totally losing hope of Shivika making any sense ever again, this scene reeled me right back in completely. NM-SC were brilliant in this scene. Especially NM. And it was really the first Shivika scene with meaningful angst post separation. And that line was brilliantly delivered. It’s one of those lines that every IB viewer will remember even without a rewatch.

LOL those were the days. We went through so many cycles of banging our head over the groupbaazi nonsense and baaki senseless stuff....then one meaningful Shivika scene would reel us right back in and give us the strength to stick with the show for them 😆.

Yes, this is one line that will live on long term in the legacy of Shivika’s journey for sure. It was a very rare kind of scene for ITV angst.

This bit from S2epi1 is another notable one IMO.

Until this point in the episode, Sam was happy with the way she had moved on in life and reinvented herself, enjoying a no strings attached existence.

But the moment she sees Veer again, and sees him laughing, without any headphones to block out the world, she is kinda disappointed😆....let down. It's almost like she was so busy thinking of her own moving on, she didn't think Veer could move on either.....and when it looked like he did, she was upset....almost like she had strangely still expected him to be moping for her😆

It wasn't even like he was with another girl....he was just hanging out with Ishanvi and still Sam was disappointed that he wasn't in headphones wala Devdas mode.....lol cartoon hai yeh ladki.

LOL Fary, I'm belatedly realizing that "Mrs. Robinson" na sahi, Veer did manage to find a different cat in season 2😆

Season 1 mein they met for the first time cuz of a dog....Karma😆. Didn't Sam come looking for Karma when she found Veer? Mainly cuz he'd thrown the dog out of the house?😆

So I guess it had to be a cat that made them meet in season 2.....haha....the way his expression changes from shock to just sheer joy at seeing her with the way he says "Sameera".

And I love their expressions in this bit.....the vulnerability on Sam's face as she sees him....her eyes say so much....and the way he exhales in between despite the otherwise big smile....you can see the play of emotion on his face too.

Yup i just watched it too and really liked the song and the chemistry. I have high hopes from this film better not disappoint
