What I meant was Pre is already continuously being butchered with no mercy and now it seems Anurag is in for the same treatment and his butchering will be brutal as he was always righteous and genuine to his feelings. So, the innocence of both will be lost as they started off with a different character graph. In addition to Anu's situation, the essence of Pre being murdered is also worrisome.

I want his self realisation of how Anurag Basu would handle things, not this caricature of him

No, I never meant that. The sweet, innocent, not so intelligent, straight to the face Pre was the one who I liked the most. But the buildup of Anu on righteousness was much above Pre from the start that was only what I meant from my statement before. Considering the current situation regarding Anu's butchering I used those words that don't mean Pre was not the same.
