oh damn...I didn't even think about making people listen to NA before they go watch a semi p*rn movie😵....totally agree with you.

As for displaying National flags at home, why not. I know in the US pretty much every other household displays their national flag outside their homes with pride.

In US ...people also wear flags on their bottoms and under their feet as sandals....

I never said there is a problem with people having flags at home...i was just saying that that was not allowed before and now I now it is.

Everyone should stand up for national anthem and we should've flags mandatory with all viewers. A person without ticket can be exempted for once, but entering without flag the person should get thrown out from theatre.

I personally don’t see a problem in that. 3-4 ghante k entertainment k beech me mushkil se 1 min khade hone ko kaha ja raha h..I don’t see what’s the big deal about that.

The most free countries are the ones where there is no need to make a display of patriotism at every given opportunity. The fact that there seems to be a race to prove who is more bhakt than someone else already says enough.

I'm always surprised by how nationalist Indian youth are. Maybe they need to read some Hannah Arendt.

I think we can spend a minute standing for the national anthem.

It's a mark of respect for our country

I really don't like national anthem at theatre. NA has a certain aura a respect,it should feel exclusive to very prestigious or patriotic occasions like before a national game or while celebrating independence day. Playing it in a movie theatre where some couple's have gone to snog, someone's kid is crying, people r struggling to stand up with popcorn bucket in hand and sighing and getting angered by having to stand up, the movie will have raunchy or violent stuff ,really isn't something the NA is for.

I'd stand up for sure if I hear it. But I'm not gonna force someone who isn't to stand up. I don't think those people force others to sit down either. I have no problem with national anthem, it's just the why here part. Not to mention when the rule first started to play it in theatres, people went out of limit. Some harassed an handicapped guy for not standing up, a woman who was holding her kids, people started shooting people not standing up n would put that on Facebook to do an expose. All that is so wrong

Doesn't it just kinda diminish its value.. if it's played everywhere and before anything.. Plus, I mean if it is played.. ofc u'd stand up.. it's just human nature.. but to play it e.g before a mindless shit movie, it just takes away its value? Who even came up with this idea?

National anthem is supposed to be played when representing the nation.. sporting events, Olympics or an international platform.. cinema hall mein kaun koi accomplishment ke liye jata hai? 🤢

Here in Scandinavia.. ppl don't give a F about the flag or national anthem. However, everyone (inclu immigrants) works and aims at improving the nation and making it a better place/country.
