Yeah I don’t think we’ll have any of their scenes together next episode sadly. However I’m surprised at the outfit changes….it feels like there will be different scenes. Hoping that means quicker pace.

I m new to SMD forum but old to India Forum

Came here after a long time because I couldn't stop myself from visiting the forum after such controversial episodes

Each and every reviewer is bashing SMD left right centre but here is my opinion-

If you watch this show with an open mind just to enjoy a story and go with the flow..than the characters are behaving exactly thr way they are supposed to behave..

People are having problem with Sadaf making the offer...but than when she knows she is asking money from her womanizer boss who sleeps around..who would think that he would lend money wothout asking for favours.

Now coming to the second question- why Sadaf went to BA..the answer is if she opted for loan,she already cleared in her dialogue that for loan her house would be worth 1 crore and if she takes loan from BA she can't repay it for whole life...and her entire salary will be spent on loan...and a girl whose father is no more,bro is gonna be dead if not treated within one and half months,I dont think she can think of a better option than BA for instant money..even if she goes for fund raising from NGO,it will take time and she has to wait for more than 1 month and not sure whether theh can collect 8 crores or not..I agree some people wanted to see the buildup but than people are also complaining that the pace is slow,wahaj is absent from episode etc etc than what should makers do lol? People in every social media is reacting like sadaf is in a normal situation and offering herself for sleeping...this is not the case...She is not even in her right senses specially after hearing her bro has only one and half months left to live if not treated.

If people are watching the show just to criticize than please dont torture yourself . I understand some people feel disconnected than dont watch it !! Each and everyone's time is precious..so dont spend that time on something you dont like.

Lastly,I agree to the fact that the pace is slow.I hope they resolve this issue soon..Since I m a ITV viewer since childhood this pace works for me..but if some people finds the pace too annoying than you should binge watch after the show ends ...!!

I think everyone expected a TB or IM like show where leads would have 100 eyelocks and intense chemistry. Having watched Haseeb’s previous shows , I knew what we would be getting and don’t mind it. My biggest complaint is the dull filter and lack of Wahaj Ali. The more his character stays away, the more this shows starts to falter.

Wasnt it clear from the teasers specially teaser no 4 that they wouldn't share the screen from initial episodes? I mean for me it was clear

Wahaj will be there in upcoming episodes dont worry!! The last 2-3 episodes were to build up Sadaf's helplessness but I think everything became a backlash unfortunately

Criticism for acting, direction, writing etc is fine. But saying that such storylines apparently are against the culture and can’t be put onscreen. WTF By that logic no one can play murderers or rapists onscreen.

we have to accept that there are plenty of people who criticizede8 are those who are not haters, are w fans, have praised smd in the past, and are not aware of any fandom related issues.

if you are going to show your female lead take this step which people consider morally religiously and legally reprehensible, it was essentially to have scenes where you see sadaf breaking down bit by bit, having all roads and options closing on her. you had to make the viewers believe her desperation and how fragile she is getting mentally and is literally having a breakdown and acting irrationally by taking such a drastic step.This should've been her sarr pe kafan baandh ke ghar se nikalna moment, a dead man walking or the prisoner walking the Green Mile. they could have shown her getting ready and first wearing lipstick but then wiping it off- opting to dress like someone jo apne janazay pe ayi hai. instead of the long pauses, camera zooms, scenes where we hear voiceovers of dialogues said 2 seconds ago, and repetitive scenes, long drawn out needless cid investigations in episodes prior, we should have gotten this instead.

we have seen female cktrs sell their bodies in sacrifice to save their children's well-being in films in BW films (like Tabu in Chandni Bar) and audiences have sympathized with such cktrs. But the director failed to put in the leg work to build that sympathy. even in that itv show where the FL sleeps with her boss to get money for her son's health care, they showed her exhaust other options.

Also, what was the point of Sadaf to keep insisting she is willing to do anything. She could have asked once. BA could have shut her down immediately and given her the check. She could have said why didn't you give it to my father and BA could have said he didn't know. After that Sadaf could have taken the check and left. Her insisting on it again and again even when BA said no just made the whole thing so bizarre. None of it added anything to the scene. BA could have had his cktr growth even if Sadaf just said it once.

I really think with some of these tweaks, they could have sold the premise much better. right now everyone is just coming up with reasons to fill up the blanks when it was the director and writer's job to do so.

In Katha Ankhahee...her son was diagnosed with cancer since a long time and she had enough time to deal with the grief and arrange at least some money before the big reveal that she needs more money unlike here where she wanted money within one and half months and considering the state of mind of Sadaf because of father's untimely death and now brother's terminal illness...It is already implied that sadaf couldn't think of any other options who could give her immediate money...of such a huge amount except loan.

See I agree the buildup could have been better but in Katha Ankahee the whole show was based on this one night stand but sunn mere dil isn't based on this whole premise...!!

Anyways,let's see what they have to offer in future.

What they could have done is show Sadaf having flashbacks of her struggles while arriving to the hotel.
