I have two questions to Pakistani people out here. Genuinely curious.
1. One thing I have noticed a lot is regarding female mobility in the show. Like a lot of people in the show raise a lot of concerns when young women are moving about alone in the city. At late night I can understand, sort of, even in India. But this is in Karachi. Like can women not hail Uber or its equivalent in Karachi or Pakistan at late night like when Sitara needed to be dropped by Qasim? I have noticed this even in some other PTV dramas too. Also, why can't she take a scooty or like to her college or to move around? Is it not common in Pakistan? Why does she have to wait around for her brother? Also, if she can use auto-rikshaws, why is it a big deal for her brother to pick her up and not just let her use use auto-rickshaws regularly? Like she can move around on her own, right? What about buses or other public transport? This is not to point out what seems to be a cultural difference. Like it sticks out as a sore thumb to me because women owning scooties and moving about on their own are so normal out here in India. I have noticed this lack of scooties in other PTV dramas as well.
2. What are your inheritance laws in regards to women? Like it is 50-50 regardless of gender like in India or like does Salar get 2/3rds of Tahir's entire estates and Saba gets only 1/3rd? Again genuine curiosity. It sounds so absurd to me that Tahir is not pressurizing Saba to join his business despite her having an MBA and topping it but is instead after Salar who is not interested and himself said that he does not really understand economics. It makes me wonder regarding their gender and whether that has an effect on how their rights to inheritance dictates their role in their father's company and that is why Tahir who is otherwise liberal is after Salar and not Saba.
First your second question...yes daughter and son not get the same share. But this islamically...and its kind of. You must give this share to your daughter. Aur bete ka share zyada hai, responsibilities bhi bete pr zyada hai ..naam ...business legacy bhi wahi continue krta hai. But sb aesa nhi krte. Many people give their kids equal share, beti damad bhi buisness mein engage hote hain. Maybe saba wants to be a home maker. Usne khud se chaha hi naa ho.
And 2nd question....we have all thoughts of people here. Mostly mindset are different in different status. Here women are doing job, driving cars, doing groceries., picking kids from school..mostly ye category jo elite class se belong krti. Educated suljhe hue log. Girls are going to college and school on their own , using metro careems ubers.
Sitara ki family k mindset wale log bhi hain ..brother father pick and drop krte hai ..issue saftey nhi kbhi finance bhi hojata hai. Haan scooties vgera ka itna trend nhi hai ..use krti hain krne wali ..buht majboori mein
But traveling alone agr sch mein majboori ho..wrna koi family member, friend...ab she was returning from wedding, from a wedding hall ..that must be far away, in night time...maybe thats y they show

I see. Thank you so much for answering! I was really curious about this especially the mobility thing. It makes sense though. Also, scooty is so common in India for women like baat majboori ki nahi par mobility ki hai. Kisike paas agar scooty ho to aas paas bazaar ja sakti hai aur school ya college ya job par ja sakti hai apne aap. Plus seat mein samaan rakhne ki jagaah hoti hai. College ki ladkiyaan use apne personal locker ke tarah istemaal karti hain. Haan, ab koi afford nahi kar paaye ya kisike paas gadi aur driver hai to baat alag hai. Like scooty ki marketing hi ladkiyon ko target karke hoti hai India mein. Saare colours aur design wagera bhi ladkiyon ke pasand ki hoti hai.
if sahiba is planning to accuse salar having affair , fir toh sitara kabhi nhi maanegi plan fail hi hoga ..
dono pe affair ke already ilzam lage baithe h
nimmi ke scene m khas maza nahi aya ... i wanted salar to tell them how nimi tried destroying Sitara ... how painful it was for her to bear all this alone ...
Episode bhi short aaya...wese flashback k bger dikhate itna hi honge daily.
Give me written update of promo...
Haan yahan itni common nhi hai. Jo car sur driver affornd nhi krskte ..unke ley rickshaws, metros, bhai ki bike, aur careem. Yes I saw cute scooties on indian channels
They have shown Salar's character very easy to read and black and white. Salar 's mom's character is also shown as negative.
Sitara's charcter keeps you guessing. From the very beginning they have just shown so many aspects of her character, that it's difficult to figure her out or what she's thinking.
Similarly Salar's father's charcter is also a closed one. One is still confused if he's wanting good for his son and wife or not.
I love Sitara and salar dad's interactions.
sitara is speaking with Tahir about salar , - that how he is not able to handle his own son when he is a well known businessmen .. -that Tahir should start seeing salar from a businessman perspective and see how professional and practical Salar is ...- That if mehreen keeps behaving this way then salar will leave ..Episode bhi short aaya...wese flashback k bger dikhate itna hi honge daily.

salman advises sahiba to do something so that Sitara leaves salar ...
Sitara is shown as way mature from her age .. so tahir kind of clicked with sitara as she can handle the deep conversations with him....Originally posted by: khamosshhh
