Loved Salar and Nani convo. I suppose Nani is realising that Salar truly loves Sitara, but IMO both Nani and Sitara will not easily accept Salar ( matlab Sitara ko aur galiyaan milegi 😂) and he'll really have to prove himself.

ab jo bhi planning plotting ho vo sitara ke khandan side m chale , i really wants to see their regretful faces ...

Sitara telling Salar how he would often ask her how she would herself happy amidst her family's hate, coz that was her way of survival.

Salar saying he cannot be a hypocrite comes from the place of him having the luxury of being able to afford being himself and getting away with it coz of his privileges and support system. In contrast to Sitara who hid her real feelings as it was a matter of survival for her.

And I like how poetically they show in the next episode, Salar going to that very person's house who had harassed Sitara, as a photographer, coz now it's a matter of survival for him too.

I think one of the main reasons why Sitara is disliked by some viewers is her behaviour towards Salar. As a viewer the facts which we know are not known by the character but viewers think from their perspective that Salar is doing so much for her but she is showing attitude to him.

And then viewers tend to remember the recent past events than the old past events. And I feel that the role of writer comes here mainly because they need to create equal space for both ML and FL here by constantly giving monologues to both the leads so that viewers understand them equally.

And most of the viewers who watch dramas are females. So when they see a guy doing so much for a girl and the girl being rude makes them a little distant from the FL. But there is an exception here, if there is a second female who gets attention from ML, automatically the viewers take FL’s side.

And I feel that when a viewer watch a love story drama they expect some romance between the couple. But seeing the constant drama and rudeness from FL make them dislike her a bit because the feel that, may be, they are missing out the romance because of FL.

To me Sitara’s distance and feelings towards Salar are justified but her language and “lehja” were unbearable for a few days after marriage. Has nothing to do with other characters who are supposed to be negative/gray anyway. I don’t expect the female lead to be all positive but the cheap language she used (kutta dum hilana etc) was terrible. What is also not acceptable is her forgiving attitude towards her nearly criminal brother and passive abuse-allowing Taya. After all the abuse including being called kabab with flies by her Taya (this alone is unforgivable by a father figure), she was happy to be blessed by him and given money.

But she’s all guns blazing at her in-laws where except Mehveen everyone else has been nicer to her than she was to them. She can behave as she is with Salar no problem and understandable (because ultimately from one perspective he is a rich father’s spoilt child who used his power to marry her, has no job to support her, and married her to satisfy his hurt ego) but all of her above described behavior and threatening the minister’s son have been problematic to say the least.

I would have agreed with you if we were talking about character like Meerab from tere bin but here i really liked Sitara's character ... all this MU comes from that phone call (nani-salar convo) and she is facing all humiliation and insults just because salar gave money to salman...so she do have a valid reason for her anger ... she is lashing out on salar because nobody is questioning him about money issue but instead everybody keeps questioning her about her character , that she is a gold digger , that she is low class , or ab toh prostitute tk bol dia bhai usko..

i love that Sitara's character is intelligent ... she knows about tahir's manipulation , family politics , sahiba , nimmi ... she is not bevkuf ....she is not trusting anybody blindly even salar ... she knows how to buy her time .. ab toh she has also calm down after taking Nanis advise ...

dekho MU toh daalega hi writer nahi toh story nhi banegi but as a girl i really don't like it when they show FL being stupid and ignorant ... atleast i can relate with sitara's characters and story.... mentally kitni strong dikhai h .. i like her attitude towards life , flow m chalti h life ke ...

Here i completely agree with you on sitara's way of talking ... her dialogues were terrible in post marriage episodes ... she should have used better words to take out her anger ..

Exactly... she was too harsh and chapri language was used. Like dum hilata kuta i wonder why salar didn't feel offended i would have been so much .. then dhamki too the mla son wasvtoo ott and than Qatal kar dega was even cringe ... 😬

I think most of us were taken aback by her rude behaviour towards his parents. Itna strech kar rahe hai drama, they could have given us her thinking aloud. And yes all the slappings ( which make for great viewing i suppose 😂) and threat was too OTT.

Anyways now I like how her tone is actually different for all the family members. With Saba and Nani she's soft, with mehreen she's sarcastic, with Tahir she's defiant and with Salar rude or sounding confused.

I like her interactions with Tahir.
