People are focusing on the ML bec he is the only one that is making the viewers feels something... He is the one acting well... Laiba sucks at displaying the mixed/suppressed emotions.. Infact her expressions are almost the exaggerated vampish ones we see on itv... She was great in the initial episodes but not now

... Like ayeza in mein had the people rooting for her even though she was clearly not a good person.. She managed to evoke the viewers sympathy... This is not a comparison bec obviously ayeza has like over a decade of experience more than Laiba... I'm just saying a good actor can go beyond the script... Laiba obviously will grow as an actor but right now she is just ok and she has made sitara unlikeable

Lol...my biggest grouse was that they weren't giving us what Sitara is thinking. Just extended shots of her face with bg music. In fact in the previous episode, was the first time they showed her thoughts when she said something about zid aise nibhata hai toh mohabbat kaise nibhata hoga or something of that sort. N again today I saw a clip where she's thinking aloud. Else there has hardly been any scenes of Sitara thinking aloud, even when she was at her taya's place. At least there we get insight through her convos with Sana. It's clearly and over sight by the writer.

Anyways I am finding both their portrayals bang on and on fact all other characters too. Rest is perspective.

I think Laiba’s make up has not been up to par, it makes her looks too harsh and stern plus her expressions also. Sitara is always in RBF mode. Sitara is coming across as very negative although her RBF is justified given how Mehreen is treating her. She should’ve been played in a soft yet firm manner. Also Sitara has been written inconsistently.

She was running away at the party but roaring back at the Minister’s son in her house. Because she has the protection of a guy she does not trust and believes will shortly leave her?? Not congruent with a girl who comes from a middle class background, was always suppressed and never had voice. She is also instigating her already short tempered husband and endangering him by insulting this ministers son who is probably already high on power.

the problem is writers don’t know how to write strong female leads who know when to vocalize and when to back off. Either it’s a crying doormat or a roaring fool

Sitara was so rude after wedding n now she is threatening misters son like what... She is a middle class girl who should know how to deal with these things better right??

She was harassed n she roars at home on the ministers son... But again in hyderabad also that bangle incident she was back answering n nimi got angry ... So she lacks kind of logical sense I guess

The writing is all over place for Sitara n I think laiba can't really save it...salar on other hand with dashing looks is a delight to watch

Khane ka taana means salar will go to office ??? Dude pick n drop n stare at phone is his only job now lol

It was a boring episode. All what happened in the scenes we've already seen in promos. smiley26

Kiran is fooled by that guy. So defamation will cone soon. I feel bad for her .. but this is a lesson for her mom and to her as well, for being bad to Sitara, and defaming her. smiley15

Qasim's traping Nimi doesn't interest me. It is another dragged track with too many unnecessary flashbacks.

And threatening Zayyan wasn't needed. Sitara is being irritating again. smiley24

I just hope Salar will be safe. smiley13

Yeah the makeup sometimes is so bad. 😂

I know we enjoy savage leads, but frankly all that slapping in public and all is just so OTT! Also I don't understand y Sitara is going out of her way to make enemies out of powerful ppl. What's with the threat and all. I don't think she's deliberately trying to provoke Salar, it's more like she's bragging that she has some who'll protect her. I think she tends to get carried away when she has someone standing up for her. Like how previously she would keep talking about how her family loves her, which she also knew was an illusion. Same happened when she was rude to Junaid. She said she had become magroor coz of mohabbat. Now same thing happening. I guess coz of how her life has been, where no one really stood up for her or loved her, whenever someone stands up for her, she gets carried away.

Writer's main focus has and will always been on ML .. they knows that most of the audience are women and they like to watch only ML good traits .. so to glorify ML , writers will always show FL batmeez ...

even though i like salaar but sitara ko aise dekh ke mere ander ka feminism jaag jata h smiley36

But on serious note , apart from salar's love for sitara , He has his own flaws ... he has always been over pampered and protected by his family and He has never faced the consequences of his own actions .... He is also outspoken like sitara .. kisi ko bhi kuch bhi bolta h ... usne khud ne hi kitne logo ko offend kr rkha h ... dono ko hi zrurt to work on their communication skills

Salar stands up for Sitara against outsiders, but he never stands up for her against his mother. She's sprouting so much of nonsense, but he doesn't tell her off. But I don't see any outrage now.
