What I feel was Meerab's actions have consequences but Murtasim did not face the consequences for his actions related to Haya.
@Bold: There are 2 types of viewers. One who watch the drama and takes it on face value. Second the viewers who watch it and discuss it, mostly in Twitter and IF. When we discuss we get to read different POVs and get the complete idea of a scene. But a general viewer does not go in depth of the characters. In the accident track, mostly people blamed Meerab for the accident because it was shown like that. But in reality the sole responsibility of the accident lies on Murtasim because he was the one who did rash driving and caused accident. He was the one who caused accident and he was the one who put his life in danger to save Meerab. But mostly the accident blame went to Meerab and savior title came to Murtasim.
Murtasim had moments of shine, but Meerab never got the opportunity to shine:
- Murtasim taking stand against Maa Begum for slapping Meerab in Episode 12.
- Murtasim eating fish despite allergy in Episode 13.
- Murtasim saving Meerab like a hero and taking care of her by cleaning her feet in Episode 16.
- Murtasim taking stand for Meerab regarding contract in Episode 26.
- Murtasim taking Meerab's side in pregnancy misunderstanding in Episode 27.
- Murtasim agreeing to meet Anas going against the family rules for Meerab in Episode 36.
If the writer put Murtasim in a spot she also gave the moments to him to shine which did not happen with Meerab.
@Underlined: The writer could have written it in a balanced way and shown that Meerab and Mariyam were also at fault.
