And this is exactly why I wanted meerab happy safe independent with and especially without murtasim. I just knew that if something happens even remotely related to her but not really then they'll blame her. I always knew a man's sweet sweet words mean nothing when under pressure. Real faces come out. Murtasim could have dropped her in the morning...in daylight. With her things.

And many many may disagree. But this is why I have preference for individual person first. Not a couple.

Hey MK said you can lead me and when she's clueless don't do anything just follow KMK. That's how you navigate in a marriage right. Stress in her marriage could have averted had she taken him into confidence.I feel it's meerub's immaturity which brought her to her present situation. They both have such high expectations of each other, it is too much pressure for someone who wasn't mentally prepared to take on such a difficult job. She was thrown into the shark pool, she has to navigate archaic khandhan rules she doesn't believe in, dangerous family politics, villains who are killers, supporting her MIL with panchayat duties, on top of top of that she has to be a wife a friend a lover and deal with her own trauma. He has helped her as much as he could, but he also gets in the way.

On one hand he is like you are ahead of me I will follow your lead, which is how it will always be in their marriage. But she is also inexperienced, so he has to allow her time to gain some wisdom, in that journey she will make mistakes that is just life. But how can she do that if he is constantly intervening stifling her growth. He is torn between two instincts wanting to protect her and allowing her the space and time to become the leader she is born to be, which is what he wants.

MK has no expectations from his wife, it is KMK who wants his Queen to never falter. She is trying hard and in today's prayer you can see her soul tremble at the thought she let him down. The idea that he must be ashamed of her is more painful for her than her parents revelation, she desperately wants to live up to his expectations because she too has high demands of herself. Whether it is the bullets incident or with Maryam she did what she thought was in his best interest, it looks like she is wrong but she is right in the bigger picture. Murtasim will realize this because he conceded that shooting MZ would have been too stupid, and now with Maryam she didn't fail him she did the only thing that she could do, his pride in her never falters even if he is shook with disappointment.
