I kinda feel a flaw of Murtassim will now be depicted like he does show respect, this whole Hammurabi code (not exactly the replica of this code but its like eye for an eye kinda thing here) of "izzat for izzat" thing that it seems like he follows and I think, in one of the latest, he doesn't find much wrong in it and Meerab calls him out for this bizarre form of justice...i think there is some flaw that can be seen but, from the way I'm describing it, probably hard to verbalize it or something..
Talking about izzat for izzat in general (Not in tere bin and Murtasim context at all)
It’s wrong at many levels but I guess it’s more of creating a fear in each other , if one party does end up harming the women of other side , it’s like u will eventually have to let go off someone from ur side too. So both sides will pause and think for a second before doing something crazy. Maybe all this was to avoid some crazy shit where as usual women end up being victims .
So this serial cases also maliks son had no crazy thoughts of doing some physical harm to meerab it’s more like she walked on our side so we imprisoned her and he will hve to come and request for permission/ beg for her and in return I will asks for my lands.
It was always land and humiliating Murtasim
I am not supporting this things just putting my perspective. I would have happily suggested the guy get punished like u know chop off types but still this is mana world and they make rules
