I have tried to enjoy the drama without using any of my brain cells but the writer is a special kinda idiot. Like who writes such cringe fest filled stories? And such horrid views as a female herself. The only saving grace is the acting and the chemistry. Insanely hot chemistry that reminds me of Delena.
Today was really my limit lol. It's mind boggling how many girls and women think kidnapping plot is cute!? Like larkis do you realize the halat of the desi countries! It's such a horrific trauma plus shit talk of izzat chali gayi from a society of patriarchy. To isme mazey ya romance kaha se ati hai? It's not just the dumb 16 year old gals but women too! The response from the people and fans makes me think that I know the reason why writers like Noor Makhdoom exist. She has an audience that gubbles up dirt. No. It's an entire country lol.
First of all, merab should have the choice to do anything that she likes. Murtasim's respect towards her and other women is what is the basic courtesy that every male on earth should have. It's the bare minimum that most don't do sadly. Merab owes him nothing for this. But this is where my feelings for merab ends. I completely understand why she acts out and she has every right to reject murtasim even if he's a god sent angel. However, she has no right to put his family at risk. Today her harkat was so bratty. I have lived my entire life abroad and one thing I know about desi culture is that you have to be careful in cities and even in rural areas especially if you're visiting or not from that area. I have complete understanding of the mind and psych of Desi logs. I strongly disagree with how the system is run especially in a rural setting but would never just challenge them on my own with no resources. Because these savages are more of doers and not much of communicators. You can't hold dialogues with them.
And merab being from a Desi city and knowing her family is of a feudal background decided to run around like a goat at the age of 25? I'm sorry that's not cute lol. And where are murtasim's guards when you need them? He should have warned her in more details but merab is such that she wouldn't care regardless of it. What if those were goons to assault her? She would be traumatized then but instead she's acting like not being one bit understanding after being rescued when murtasim told her he's going over to the enemy's home.
She, the critics and the reviewers want murtasim to never hold guns or be grey. But to exist in a feudal setting or even in such positions of power one needs to be strongly grey of a character to survive and protect their family. But then again the audience doesn't like or maybe understand that humans have different dynamics, shades and actions given a specific situation.
