Same way we as audience can't warm up for faryal n sheema,coz we have seen how they were ,also now sheema bad days ahead coz Rehan is turning into another Abbi.her good days r here🤡

Hello! Can I butt into this thread? :)

I have come back to IF after a really long time as there was a dearth of good Indian/Pak shows featuring couples which merit discussion.

While I have been watching YKF from the beginning on YT, like many others I became an ardent viewer after the lead couple met again as doctors.

Since it so tough to wait for a whole week for a new episode these days, I started re watching old episodes. I did not like frizzy haired and overly cheerful Asfi then so I am watching scenes I skipped earlier. I am seeing his act as a young carefree medical student with new eyes now that I know he is a very good actor.

I realized that the makers devoted so many episodes to his craze for Fariyal and how he enjoyed being in love and pampering his fiance. Given that Asfi and Zubia are the actual couple I hope the makers show this side of Asfi (and even more in love) with Zubia. The old episodes showed him as a guy with a great capacity to "be in love", now with his serious demeanor it would be a treat to see Asfi that way again.

Am I hoping for too much?

No dear we all r hoping n we really want to see this side of asfi.also we want marriage to be shown . AsfiYa wedding but not hoping much

I know, best to keep expectations low. In another play written by Farhat I (Mere Humdum Mere Dost), they similarly showed the prior love and married life of the male lead but just a couple of scenes after sharing of love. Of course, through out that show the male lead devotes so much time and attention to her so it was not necessary. In this case, Asfi is warming upto Zubia only now so would love to see adequate scenes after sharing of feelings...
