Geeti was shown middle aged woman in the novel n the relationship which we saw with geeti n zubiya in the novel it's between kids of daniyal n geeti saim,kashmala and zubiya.no,we absolutely cannot expect according to the novel coz there are many scenes,angles added by Farhat ishtiaq.
