@Abby and @Sana.
I too can't stop watching Teri Bina. it is sure better than many other shows , and it has a gr8 cast. also it has a message . I just hate the drag, and the less focus on leading pair .

Its still dragging! 😆
guys I think episode 4 onwards till now, all the episodes are basically the same. in the repetative scenes...

I mean, I'm still watching it 😆 but it would be more enjoyable to watch if their was development. but the show keeps beating around the same bush..

gonna give it 2 more weeks and if nothing much changes and I guess it'll be goodbye

Drag is the middle happens in most pak dramas
My formula is forwarding the filler n rona dhona scenes and watch the show in 15 to 20 mins

I do that in many shows

And dil e janam I just finish in 10 mins lol

Even tumhare hain picked up after some terrible epis in the middle

So the solution to dealing with dragged epis is simple

Even mannat epi 14 to 18 were lame

It then picked up again from 19 onwards

MANNAT episode 26

WOW the epi was a BOMB
SO many things happened...dil nawaz FINALLY met his mom and sikandar also got to know his true identity...it was refreshing to see sikandar telling dil Nawaz the truth about Mannat now loving him only...the office confrontation scene betwn dil Nawaz n sikandar was very well done.

..then the wedding...i liked the Ring scene between dil Nawaz and gul naz...the wedding reminded me of the highway scene between them in epi 13 where dil Nawaz told her he wud hv married her if meeramma asked him to n today that EXACT thing happened..

..nigaar giving it back to meeramma was so needed yet it was equally painful to see dil Nawaz getting hurt in the process...wish we had a happier mom son reunion...

.mannat mehru khala dialogues were so deep...who wud hv thought we wud get to see them both locked together...

.the LAST scene between Gul naz and DIL Nawaz stole the show for me...Sami and uzma Hassan take a bow...it indeed felt like dil Nawaz can't breathe n can't take it anymore and how Gul naz wanted to comfort him in every way possible..its a different type of love she has for him...its selfish yet unconditional at the same time...n the last shot when she puts her head on his thigh n dil Nawaz wanted to put his hand on her head but cudnt make himself do it... WOW...Sami and uzma Hassan were just UNBELIEVABLE in the last scene...

Mannat 24-26

So, I actually missed more than just 1.
A lot happened the last couple of weeks and finally the story has progressed. First of all, is it ok to give constructive criticism? If no, let me know and I will delete/edit or you can delete it.

I feel that this show could've been much more effective if it was handled a little differently. It's been overdramatized to some extent in my opinion. I think that subtlety would have had a stronger impact.
I do appreciate the fact that this drama has raised some issues that concern us directly. Honor killings, child selling which could lead to human trafficking are still prevalent in our societies and need to be brought up at every single opportunity available.

Coming to the latest episode, why is mannat locked up in the dungeon? I don't understand what purpose it would serve anyone. Btw, just wondering are there any bathrooms there? Honestly, the most hilarious (at least for me) was when mehru khala announced mannat is pregnant. Like, the only cause of syncope is pregnancy, and they had a urine pregnancy testing strip available in the dungeon lol. Unless, she is really not...

I actually do like the story line so far. My favorite scene was the one when nigar meets meerama the first time, the truth was out, the conversation between the two, and thankfully it wasn't exaggerated. It was just the right amount of emotions. Sami you were the best in the last scene; portraying the emotions of betrayal, hurt, pain, uncertainty, love, hatred all simultaneously without overdoing it. Yes, the last scene was a delight to watch (minus gulnaz.. Abby you reading this? ). I truly have no sympathy for gulnaz. She turned the whole ordeal about herself and what she wants without considering what dilnawaz might be going through. Although I have to admit that Uzma Hassan is fantastic as gulnaz (Abby are you happy now?).

Was there no trust between dilnawaz and mannat? People do have relationships before marriage sometimes but that doesn't mean a thing. Men generally do have a tendency to be skeptical and suspicious more than women (its human nature I think) and even the best of human being can fall prey to this (our prophet SAW did too when Aisha RA was slandered). we could've forgiven dilnawaz for mistrusting mannat but his crime was marrying gulnaz in haste.
