I started watching mannat a few weeks ago and was hooked. I think I watched 9-10 episodes back to back on my day off. Initially I thought, do people like these even exist? Who put their own daughter in chains? And believe in a curse? And not pray to Allah to remove this "curse?" Don't let widows remarry when our prophet SAW himself married widows? Instead focus on getting their only son left married so that he can produce an offspring before he dies? Sell their own blood for money? But then I thought about the people still living in tribal areas, small villages, who are uneducated and don't have proper knowledge of their religion not only in Pakistan but in many countries across the world, indulging in black magic when it's totally haram, killings their children in the name of honor and selling their children for money who then get sold off into a human trafficking ring! This is what I'm getting from this show. It's indirectly raising these issues. I know I'm different
That being said, I'm loving Sa
Sami Khanand rabab hasim here. They do look good together! I have loved the two together from PMB days. They both compliment each other. We can feel dilnawaz's frustrations at his family's "jahalat," feel his pain when he realized he is in love and would maybe die, and feel his anguish that his beloved wife could become a widow and lead a life that gulnaz is leading... Sami has been that good throughout! Alrighty will stop for now before I get carried away lol!
