Romantic Reveries

You know Sana I was thinking of you while watching Pakeezah's father scene. All those things you wrote about parents' responisibility. this scene was like a reply to you. and I am happy that you see how Pakeezah's father wasn't wrong. it is just Pakeezah's fault, and for this she's regretting big time.
It is not that odd to get married to the dever after getting married and having kids from his brother. I hope to watch a show about this, coz it is better for the kids to stay in the same family than to have a stranger as step father.😃
But I am sure Pakeezah won't marry anyone else she's Umair's. 😊

MANNAT episode 25

Today's epi was a DHAMAKA...i wasn't expecting such a romantic confession of dil Nawaz of his mohabbat for Mannat...i liked how the scene started with mannat confusing to him about sikandar and how dil Nawaz just doesn't want to think of anything else other than him n mannat n their mohabbat...it was so cute n genuine...Sami n Rabab indeed look so good together..

...the 2nd half was equally painful when gul naz reveals the secret masala lagake...uzma Hassan is OUTSTANDING as gul naz...i loved it how she said she has just one mehboob...lol...i love the way gul naz loves dil Nawaz...that junooni mohabbat...mannat mehru Khala scene was also very touching...dil Nawaz shud not hv reacted so much if mannat herself told him the truth when she first met sikandar...but I can understand it's not easy for any gal to mention her past to her husband but transparency is also very needed to avoid such situations...this is a lesson learnt from today's epi...

P.S.i love samis look n wardrobe as dil Nawaz...he looks so classy n royal with the hair brushed back n the fuller face

I started watching mannat a few weeks ago and was hooked. I think I watched 9-10 episodes back to back on my day off. Initially I thought, do people like these even exist? Who put their own daughter in chains? And believe in a curse? And not pray to Allah to remove this "curse?" Don't let widows remarry when our prophet SAW himself married widows? Instead focus on getting their only son left married so that he can produce an offspring before he dies? Sell their own blood for money? But then I thought about the people still living in tribal areas, small villages, who are uneducated and don't have proper knowledge of their religion not only in Pakistan but in many countries across the world, indulging in black magic when it's totally haram, killings their children in the name of honor and selling their children for money who then get sold off into a human trafficking ring! This is what I'm getting from this show. It's indirectly raising these issues. I know I'm different

That being said, I'm loving SaSami Khanand rabab hasim here. They do look good together! I have loved the two together from PMB days. They both compliment each other. We can feel dilnawaz's frustrations at his family's "jahalat," feel his pain when he realized he is in love and would maybe die, and feel his anguish that his beloved wife could become a widow and lead a life that gulnaz is leading... Sami has been that good throughout! Alrighty will stop for now before I get carried away lol!
