I forgot who had posted Agam ka video before…. I think it was endless…but perhaps someone else? I knew of Agam from before…..

But this one … Malhar reminded me of attending Malhar cultural fest at St Xaviers…. Then there was Mood Indigo at IIT…and ofc the one at Sophia (to meet the gals at all gals college..)….

I am so glad that you are a purist at heart for this music else I would not even see some of this…… this one is awesome….

U going to get mad at me for saying this.. but I would need to listen to this separately to appreciate it even more. Cuz.. my brain is totally into enjoying the fusion at the moment…. So I cant switch to pure with full appreciation …

Nope not mad at all! I enjoy fusion and am by no means a kattar purist. I can appreciate all forms and Carnatic fusion I think is really cool - it’s combining the elements of. Carnatic and Rock music both of which I enjoy. What’s not to like? And I think it’s a cool way to connect to Gen Zs who may identify with this type of music more. So if it helps them stay close to the traditional roots why complain?

Btw the guy on the iPad is Mahesh Raghavan - he plays with Ambi in the other video you posted as well.
