And I gotta wave the Canadian flag a bit because Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir! 👏smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32smiley32

Like I feel they are two bodies and one soul dancing. The sheer effrontery of some of the stuff they did out there, it's almost like everyone saying that's impossible and Moir & Virtue going - Hold my beer!

The absolute control and total trust you must have in your partner! Just boggles the mind!

And they add acting too to their routine! This performance gives me goosebumps everytime I watch and I've watched it on loop! Their chemistry is fire.

Just because they do all these lifts, and jumps & twizzles and slides and it's not even on solid ground! The level of skill and control is just mind-boggling. I maybe entirely wrong in my assessment not being an expert- but yeah this is what I feel.

Look at this one from Vancouver 2010: Meryl Davis and Charlie White dancing on Devdas - they even do the 'Dola Re' Hook step! ⭐️⭐️

oh. I completely agree. Ice skating is the hardest… without an iota of doubt. But we are enjoying the dances (not just how hard na? 🤣🤣. )

I was there for Vancouver Olympics in person for 2 days btw. I supported our Calgary business (not this performance tho sadly) and it’s on my bucket list to be there for Stampede in Calgary one day :).

I have so many more dances to post :).

Let’s start with one of fav actresses and dancers .. Deepika .. her flow and steps here. Simply fab .. Garbaa steps… and she just kills it. We used to go for it with my cousin and sis and ofc I mainly watched the crazy moves people had. And then my cousin and me - we couldn’t resist and just joined and they all were like — indono ko kuch aata naheen hain but sabsey zyaada to inlogo nachey… 🤣🤣🤣. Without a care in the world ..

I was never a fan of Govinda's starting out. It took me many years and my dad's dogged pushing to appreciate this guy. His comic timing is, of course, a class apart & much talked about. But his dancing? Technically, there are probably plenty of dancers that can beat him but the way he dances - with utter abandon and the way he brings so much joy & feeling into his routine? I think he adds something to every performance of his. The songs are mostly nonsensical but the expressions he adds - you can tell he's so into it & that just makes him a joy to watch.

Koi, na let me post now!

Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds in Singin' in the Rain (1952).

The choreography was by Kelly and can you believe Debbie did not even know the T of Tap dancing when she signed on to do this movie? 😲 Look at how she holds her own against two seasoned dancers! 👏⭐️ And she was only 19! 😲

Apparently, Kelly put her through hell, so much that her feet were bleeding at the end of several exhausting takes! I read someplace she said in her biography or some book that the two hardest things she's ever done in her life were Childbirth and Singin' in the Rain.

I still refer to some of those people by their nicknames (Putzie, Kenickie, Rizzo, Frenchy, Sonny!), & have forgotten their real names! 😆 The plot is somewhat dated now but the songs are still great!

Made me so emo when Travolta came up for the In Memoriam part of the Academy Awards, and the way he brought up Hopelessly Devoted to you when talking about ONJ.. 😭

Grease 2 was pretty great too! Michelle Pfeiffer has been my girl crush for so long!

And yeah, thought SNF isn't my favorite movie, that move! And the song! ⭐️

SoBo Boys and your 'partaayyys' 🤪!

Grease IS a religion (never associate “was” with it please)… its my right of passage and I cant believe someone seems to have seen it more than me…🤣

aur humarreee partaaays….. kya bolu mein… 🤣

Speaking of which.. all of us friends had learnt these 2… and har weekend pe kaheen na kaheen to yeah karnaaa tha… 😆… 1:02 pe hum heee hain….🤣

Chikku bukku raile is my kiddo's favorite! She can watch it for hours on loop! 😆

Yeah, I love the choreography in Que Sera Sera! ❤️
