He could have atleast said, to speak for a girl’s education, I don’t have to be brother. Can’t be a simple comeback to Shristi without offending anyone. Makers have completely lost it.

Anisha, I am completely disappointed today. No amount of eye locks or puppy faces couldn’t age the epsiode for me.

Actually it’s Jhanak who is actually realizing what hell she is getting into.. she seemed scared.. hope she runs from this on her own.

Okay. Not really much to say.

Baapre... "Bas papa ki tabayat teekh rahe". Baad mein jaaye aapki baap aur unki bheemari.

Episode starts with Chotton brining items to the function, blah blah bah and SK invites Taklu uncle to her daughter's wedding. He says about his father...

He is impressed by how many people in the Basu household love J. TMW opens her mouth...

Whenever this awful excuse of a wo"Man" opens her mouth.... I get the singular feeling of being slathered in the most disgusting slime that feels and smells so wrong.

Ye khud ek gamandi aurat hai... aur J ke bhare mein restrictions lagane ki baat kar rahi hai Taklu uncle se. And SK also does chamchi. Mauka nahi chodti J ke maa ko bura bala kehne ka... Another stupid wo"man". She asks choti chamchi no.1 Rumi to bring Jhanak

Taklu uncle plays along... and tadofies Jhanak when she comes which SK notices.

Chotton steps up and compliments J. SK's stomach feels hot in jealousy, taunts Chotton who gives it back to her.... I love the makers who for a min zoomed into JK's face as Chotton said Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... Sach mein aaj JK langoor jaise hi lag rahi thi, hideous hairstyle, hideous pallu, hideous everything. She seriously did not look good man She stares back at Chotton feeling insulted lol. As if she is anything important, Im sorry.

Bodo maa breaks the tension and asks J to sit on the stool and Appu barges in and tries to sit next to her. Everyone mocks her for her make up. Appu is on fire today... Roasting TMW and spitting facts... no one can do anything to her...

"Tedhi muu se chori lagake lagayi mein...

Kya mein tumse baat kar rahi hun kya? Tedhi muu kahiki... "

J tells Appu di to sit near her and stops her from speaking blunt... Appu di then searches Taklu dhuleraja and tells him to bring her every weekend and sadly tells her parents what if J doesn't come back... Poor Appu di.

She then brings up the fact of stolen mobile.... and Choti Chamchi.1 makes excuses that J refused herself... Appu is not having it.

"Maa dekha, kitni lalchi hai Rumi..."

Female oldie has to speak something.

. so she asks about Ani and he comes... SK and Taklu uncle nod in agreement in plan and he moves forward to greet Ani... Calls him Bhaiyaa.... I am getting goosebumps man... not in a good way.

He tells about his Papa ki tabayat... and that he may have to leave early after marriage. Ani in turn says he wants to speak something but gets interrupted to start the rasam.

Not this Ashirwad rasam....

I meant the rasam where everyone gives Ashirwad... to J.

J stares at Ani in realization of the abject horror she is getting herself into.

Taklu uncle's Aunt comes and gives her a haar set. Chotti chamchi.2 remarks how she is jealous J is getting such a good set. J ne muh thod jawab dia..

"Har kisi ko gehno se kushi nahi milthi"

She then goes on to say how some women are different after the crap Taklu uncle's "Aunty" spits on a wife's role. The way she looked to Ani.... as if acknowledging his efforts to encourage her on her career... a small thanks. Nice touch

She then diverts the issue when Taklu uncle's "Uncle" asks what she wants.... Taunt rain begins as Tanuja and TMW open their mouth, SK chimes in that J is talking about other girls.

Female Oldie then asks them to hurry up. The ensuing sound... sounded more like an exorcism/possession case that happens in the Indian temples man... so scary. Not like a wedding ritual at all. Weird.

J is forced to pair choo for the Aunty and Taklu uncle makes her wear the haar.

The way J's head whipped in fear to Ani when Aunty said Patidev ka request hai... She clearly considers him her husband.

SK asks JK to help J wear the haar and gives a shitty lecture as if she is a caring maasi.. yad yada yada...

Ani just looks at J like Devdas. Kambha ki tarah kada raha tha.

Taklu uncle ki kya padi hai... he asks Ani what he wanted to say and Ani requests him to let J give the exams so she could get a degree.. J's eyes flit between her Legal Husband and Hone wala Illegal husband.

He reasons that Taklu uncle can feel proud his wife is graduated, but no no no Taklu uncle is deet. He asks what's the point if she is gonna handle the household after marriage anyways... Ani retorts back by asking what if an emergency comes up... Taklu uncle just says I have residual safe money and goes on a spiel about how a Man is a man and a Woman is a woman supposed to stay at home. He just seedhe sey tells no... for studies and for modeling. Even when Chotton asks, he doesn't relent.

Chotton tho kuch bhol nahi sakte, Shubho's job is to shut him up as usual. He tells her it's her family's decision. Ani answers him back instead...

"Iska naam hai Jhanak Raina BA final year student, behatareen dancer hai, abhi abhi isne badi company ke adshoot ki hai..."

When Oldie and JK ask Ani why he is putting pressure on Taklu uncle, he just gives one answer...

"Kyunki mein jaanti hoon shaadi ke baad mein Jhanak se milungi nahi.." prompting an eyelock between them. J looks Thankful...??

Ab iska kyaa mtalab hum nikale, sirf bhagwan hi jaante (Makers)...

SK then says the dialogue equating J to chotti chamchi's... asking Ani isn't it so. He stays mum...

*shudders*.

The context of the dialogue is even worse than I thought.

As @Funcnv said, I don't get the idea behind these long eye locks between Ani and J man...

Bodomaa blesses her, then Appu also blesses her and says she'll buy a gift for J when she starts earning money... So cute...

Then it's Jethu's turn... He blesses her with his whole heart after seeing J's concern and Hope for Appu di. So wholesome...

Ani is looking at all this with low-key pride. J's bond with Appu di has always been something he valued a lot.

Oldie refuses citing a silly reason of time constraint when Tanuja asks... Ey Makeup Budiya... tumhari ashirwad J ko zaroorat bhi nahi. Tum chup chap muu band karke baita rahe.

Then SK comes and does the ritual, my god the revulsion in her actions... and JK bhi koi kam nahi, the way she says Itni gifts... mom please!

Baad me jaaye tu aur tumhari mummy.

Anyways, isme Budda did not say one dialogue. Muu mahi dahi jam gaya hai kyaa?

Episode ends there.

Good thing they did not show the Pair chooing of Ani. Mujhse nahi hoga, especially not after SK tainted their relation by stating them as siblings... Chee

Precap: Why does it feel to me like Ani is behaving like a petulant child to chotton?

Guys, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Jhanak’s creative team! I never knew I can write these many lines being the terrible writer I am.. when I started on the forum, I started with ranting..but lately I happened to notice my length of ranting has increased day by day and I am not able to shorten it…😂😂😂Infact I am re re editing my posts as I keep realizing I am not done with my rants..😂😂😂 If only they started Jhanak during my college days.. I would’ve found that #me too am capable of writing to some extent and with that courage I would have tried to ace my English exams…😉😂
