Yes Imlie's case was different. Gashmeer already wanted to leave so they had to work accordingly.

itv show roles are not easily available..some actors wait years to get a good role..and now that his wife is not working,.they both can’t be jobless. So it will be premature of neil to quit ghum if he doesn’t have another role ready for him . According to me 🤔
