Be it Kamala or Usha they have nothing to do with India except include one line in all their speeches that they were born to Indian immigrant parents..

On alternative I find Rishi Sunak/ Sundar Pichai to be more close to Indian roots..as they have been to India and proudly talk about Indian practices at many places..

People r calling them Indian origin. And more than Indians..Americans r addressing them as such.

And ya ..Indians were happy n proud for Rishi Sunak and Sundar Pichai too.

Ok. Thanks for sharing.

So her parents have maintained that connect with the village inspite of her father being raised in Chennai. Natural for villagers to bless someone who feels that sense of belonging with their native land and thinks about their welfare.

Ancestral roots: Usha Vance hails from Vadluru, a village in Andhra Pradesh, India. Her family moved abroad over 50 years ago and has since contributed to the village by donating land for temples like the Sai Baba, Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, and Goddess Bala Seeta temples, which were built for the village's welfare.

We'll see what will happen.

If Hindus have so much power so as to influence the American elections..thats a matter of pride na??😀 It’s so called biggest democracy.

Even if those handful of people r blaming Hindus ..it should be taken as a compliment

But why? Bcoz they feel more sense of belonging for their country of origin and not their adopted country? Doesn’t make sense…coz then different people at the helm, different interests. No single regime will care for USA.. the nation.
And USA played anything but the ‘peacemaker’ in those wars.

USA being a nation of immigrants is one reason why Trump won. These immigrants have chosen USA. Thats where they belong. Trump’s ‘Let’s make American great again’ has invoked that feeling among people. They r not there to fight others’ wars..at least not to add fuel to the fire.

Nation first

As I wrote: different reasons, different countries, different outcome...but certainly this isn't the place to take a dive into US-American history (neither the old one nor the recent one) smiley1
