This is the beauty of the relationship between the band and the Idol contestants,

When the contestants perform in Idol, the band gives them encouragement and cash when they get MBD"s. (as mentioned by Sayli during Il12)

Once the contestants begin their new journey they start paying back with gigs and concerts which is a source of earning for band members. A symbiotic relationship that can get very sweet when the same band also travels internationally with a successful crop of Idol singers. This happened in Idol 10.

I fear Nihal will be missing from many such meets because he has a non-exclusive contract with Sony. So, it complicates managing him till such time either his old contract runs out or there is an understanding between the two contract holders.

What is a non exclusive contract? It's sad that Nihal is missing from the group. I wish they sort this contract stuff soon.

Non-exclusive contract is this case means that Nihal had an existing contract with some other talent company and they basically agreed to share the contract with Sony on some terms and conditions that we do not know. Others had no prior contract when Sony signed them up.

I doubt Suraj meant Danish is missing from the picture. When he went so far I think he wi be there performing. May be I read it differently. I may be wrong.
