I read somewhere Shreya was trained by music director Kalyan ji himself in classical when she was small. After Saregamapa along with talent Shreya was lucky enough to be launched by Sanjay leela Bhansali. All Devdas album were big hits with national awards. That too at the age of 16 or 17. It's not something that happens regularly.

That is the age when a female singer announces her arrival on the big stage . Geeta Dutt was 15 when spotted, the Mangeshkar sisters also arrived early in the scene. Sunidhi Chauhan also at 15.

Seriously, this is the worst season ever in terms of having a proper format. Every week Aditya says next week we will get top5 but next week again voting week. I don't know why they unnecessarily eliminated Ashish if they just have to extend voting weeks.

Reality shows are not useless, it gives the platform to showcase talent of the fresh budding contestants and get notified by the music directors. It helps the budding talents to knock the door of supply chain process of the music directors during the struggling phase of his/her career.

Taking part in reality show second time after winning one reality show and after giving efforts for 5 years for entering into the supply chain process is useless and suicidal. All the hard works in last 5 years will go into vain. 😔 Talking about BW.

It's immaterial how popular the second reality show is! It can only enhance the reach among the audience but not among the music directors. If a person is really talented singer, he/she must be under the radar of the professional music directors after taking part in any national level reality show for the seniors and they will gradually absorb him/her in their process subject to demonstration of sincerity, commitment, consistency in becoming established as a singer in BW. The popularity among large audience will not raise acceptance in the mind of the music directors. Audience should be in the terminal stage of the process, not in the starting stage. At the beginning the talent needs to be picked up by the professional music directors, perform well and then get popularity among audience for meaningful delivery of quality works. Popularity among audience should be the last part, not the initiation part. The popularity in last part leads to sustainable career, the initial popularity at the beginning as an outcome of reality show is nothing but a bubble earned against delivery of no quality work of his/her own, only potentiality is demonstrated.

All the successful singers coming from reality shows had to go through this struggling phase. Neha, Bhumi, Monali they earned success after approx 10 years of participating in reality show. They demonstrated devotion, concentration, consistency and sincerity in becoming successful singer. They didn't quit the struggling war and look for short cut to join another reality show to recreate the buzz!!!

Only Shreya Ghoshal was picked up directly from the reality show and history was made. She is a rare talent and the reality show was the purest one. Even Salaman Ali got a big break after II in Daabang 3 but could not click. Shreya is Shreya, timeless talent ❤️
