People are so obsessed with Arjun and Karn, two sides believing the either one to be stronger than the other. I don't like such comparisons for I believe that both of them were equal in terms of strength and power but the difference lied in the choices they made.
Like Ravana would have been a great King if he was not corrupt. Similarly, Arjun won over Karn's because Arjun chose the side of dharm while Karn made wrong choices and chose to side with adharm.'
Both the characters, no matter who their godly fathers were, they were human beings and they were flawed. One had more flaws than the other but this my fav is superior than yours is so weird to me.
Also, like I have mentioned before, I don't religiously follow any version, any adaptation of Mahabharat because there's always a writer's bias involved. Like, are you 100% sure that what Ved Vyas ji wrote was absolute truth? So many years have passed and who know how much changes did it go through?
Also, I like to question things and try to understand each and every point of view and adaptation. But people are always busy in playing Arjun Vs Karn game that they forget about the bigger picture and something called "Creative Liberties".
With all those adaptations that made Karn look stronger and a better warrior, did the writers force people to believe that this is the truth?
So if you have any complaints about Wattpad writers, movie and drama makers making Kauravs and Karn look good while making Pandavs look bad, why don't you write about what you feel the truth is instead of complaining and mocking? Who is stopping you?
I am writing this because there are a few comments on this thread that I don't like and if that makes you feel that I am more of Karn's supporter and all, that's not the truth.
I believe in grey shades, in flaws that every human being has. And in Mahabharat except for Krishna there was nobody who was 100% right or 100% wrongs.
Also, everybody deserves a chance at redemption. And I would love to see a redemption arc for Karn in this movie and a chance to see Arjun and Karn fighting against Yaskin/Kali together.
Okay bye!
P.S. The name "Karan" may look like it is based on the name "Karn" but, both of them have different meanings.
P.P.S. I am not going to comment on this thread or reply to anyone because I have better things to do than indulge in a Arjun Vs Karn debate because I don't believe that one was stronger than the other. The fact is that Arjun made better and good choices while Karn didn't.
