In my thinking all parties done by Ambani are PR things...the problem, I think, is just about the "doing 'too' much" of that...even the high-profile Western celebs hired to perform make me think: "Whoever"...
Whatever it is, imo, 'overexposure' isn't something positive...
He wasn't well lately...it may show...also a bit 'too' much...and the heat (and no rest) during the cruise...well, it takes its toll, I suppose...
