Mukesh and Tina can afford to hire top pop stars...so, these events are also like private live concerts with coming close to the stars...why not?
What I know about this part of the Ambani family, they have a quite balanced 3-part of lifestyle: earning money, spending money on lavish things, giving money to social/environmental projects.
As for the tax-free argument: well, the respective government should be happy to have riches in the country who don't deal in drugs and weapons and wars (my thoughts going to the Adani-money).
