The Academy needs to extend this goodwill towards her future roles as well. Gehriyaan should have received recognition.

Exactly. Best Bhansali film of 2010s. Now, that charm is lost. Gangubai was very dull & boring

Agreed, Gangu was horrible and has no repeat value. Actually Ram Leela is my favorite Bhansali movie of the decade. Deepika and Ranveer had tremendous chemistry onscreen as they were falling in love offscreen.

Bajirao Mastani had gorgeous costumes, music, and production designs but I found it hard to root for the two leads. But now, knowing what Priyanka did to Deepika in real life, I think I won't have a problem seeing Deepika to do Priyanka onscreen what Priyanka tried to do in real life.
