Dumb fun. The movie doesn't have much substance. The plot is thin and absurd. But a time pass watch for John Cena laughing at himself and being up to no good.

Crew

Crew is an entertaining heist film. It isn't perfect, and it has many flaws. It doesn't have the laugh-out-loud gags that comedy films have. Nor is it sharp, smart, or cerebral in any way. The tonality of the two halves is different.

But it's nevertheless funny and entertaining. It makes you chuckle. Tabu is a national treasure, and it's a crime that more movies don't utilize her deadpan humor or swearing as much. Kareena is at ease playing a kleptomaniac air hostess with shady morality. Both Kareena and Tabu acknowledge their age and take cracks at each other over it. Kriti Sanon matches her accomplished peers and delivers gags of her own

Overall, it's a fun, frivolous film, perfect for a night out with friends. It isn't trying to be a female-oriented film or make any statements. It's just a silly heist comedy for some entertainment and laughs. That's it

TBMAUJ

Kriti looked pretty (the prettiest she has ever looked in a movie) and acted well. Shahid was great too and underrated in his role. I loved part 1 more it was more enjoyable part 2 had some good scenes like dhak dhak dance and police scene was funny. Ending is good and leaves room for a potential part 2 without being too unrealistic.

Young Sheldon S1

It's more charming than TBBT. Iain Armitage is adorable. Meemaw and Missy are a hoot and the best. Mary Cooper still frustrates.

theek thaak movie ...there are observable deficiencies but over a good movie for time pass..like fellow member aforementioned in their post, tabu's deadpan humor needs to utilize her deadpan humor properly...kareena also did her part decently as someone who desires to embezzle for expensive material & feigns her flashy life on SM...kriti does her part theek thak ..overall just a movie for time pass..nothing special..

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya:

A fun rom-com. It's like a breath of fresh air and definitely worth the hype. Not one dull moment in the movie. The ending is an interesting one.

Anyone But You

This is a fun, frothy romcom. Glenn Powell and Sydney Sweeney are hot and have great chemistry. However, the plot is wafer-thin, and the humor is lackluster. What did you expect? It's a romcom! It is not meant to be intelligent or realistic. It's just fantasy wishfulness. Just go with the flow.

Mean Girls (2024)

Some movies are untouchable. Would I have liked it as a standalone movie? I don't know. But it is impossible to watch it without comparisons to the OG Mean Girls. The 2004 movie is an iconic film that has attained cult classic status. The original is sharp, witty, acerbic, and oh-so-quotable. Every single character is memorable and has well-known lines. The upgrade just does not have the weight or punch of the original. Karen and Gretchen are relegated to the sidelines.

There are some good upgrades. The TikTok virality and the cameos work. The girl on the opposing math team is not an exaggerated nerd. There is no problematic student-teacher affair. Janice is actually queer. And Renee Rapp is delightfully charismatic. But nostalgia weights heavy on this one. Old is gold.
