Seema Pahwa's portion in the film was the most interesting and boy she acted so damn well. For a change, she wasn't playing the typical middle-class mother's role and she totally owned it.

100% agree. I'm glad SLB casted her because it was very against type and unexpected. She's usually the small-town mom, but she nailed the negative role.
I loved her performance..:her scenes were some of the most engaging ones in the filmā¦kinda went downhill after her character exits
She was so menacing and scary
She was SO SO goood! what a performer..after Supriya Pathak..someone shone this bright in a supporting role in a SLB movie..

Agreed! I loved her as the savage, fierce, authoritative and greedy Sheela Maasi and she was even better than Supriya(I felt she really overacted in Ram Leela) IMO.
I was really really disappointed that she was in the movie for about 20 minutes though š„±
