Listening to Alka Yagnik live performances are disappointment - Page 2

Apparently age and voice quality which varies day to day does not affect Arsalan's Multiverse of Sonuism.

This is the same Alka Yagnik whose sung songs at the time when there was NO autotune and many times, no retakes, cuts, edits and just single takes.

and this is the perforamnce of 2001 and not 2015 for that matter , alka yagnik never was so accurate during her live shows , she dont have the same smoothness in voice with which she sings in playback,,,, and retakes were there since the day playback started , udit narayan was not getting the song ruk jaa o dil dewana correct , jatin lalit got angry on him and the song was finalised after many retakes of the songs happened untill the good take

I've heard her live and she's pretty good. Its now that age has started to affect her. And sometimes singers have off days.

Ruk Jaa Oh Dil Deewane was a very different style, it might have taken Udit multiple takes but he did get it finally. And he still manages to sing it well till date.

Most pure musical live shows are boring. The acoustics are bad and you can barely enjoy the music or vocals. Not everyone can project and so the vocals sound tired and deteriorated. Orchestra and vocals are better in a small lounge that is designed for good acoustics and an intimate setting so singers don't have to project a lot.

Music arenas and stadium concerts are for "performers." It is not just music and orchestra, you have pyrotechnics, dancing, outfit changes, energetic crowds. It doesn't matter if the music gets drowned in the noise or the vocals deteriorate - you're there for the experience.

Taylor Swift sounds gorgeous in acoustic performances with just a piano or guitar. Her live performances are nowhere near studio quality. But man "I did something bad" live performances are out of this world.
