watched shaitaan this past weekend because i kept reading so many good things about it. the acting was fine but the movie itself is so stupid and frustrating. common sense naam ki to koi cheez hi nahi thi is movie ki universe mein

Pratibha Rath in Laapata Ladies also deserves a special mention...she was awesome!
I watched Laapata Ladies yesterday, such a sweet movie.
Havent seen any of the other movies. Not interested in Heeramandi.
I love Madhavan, and I think he was awesome in the movie. The only time I felt he failed was when he is doing that monologue reveal .. "main shaitaan hoon" etc. They should have modulated his voice a bit more to make him sound scarier, because he otherwise has a fairly soft spoken voice
Regardless, he easily stole the show along with the daughter. Ajay hardly had anything to do in the movie
Please include Aditi too for Heeramandi
She was graceful and wonderful in her role
her swan walk is talk of the town
Konkona Sen Sharma - Killer Soup
Monoj Bajpaee - Killer Soup
Kareena - Crew
Tabu - Crew
Sonakshi - Heeramandi
Ravi Kishen - Lapaata Ladies
Madhavan - Shaitan
Is Shaitaan that good? Thought of watching it once but then wasnt in a mood to watch something so heavy. searched for new light hearted or comedy stuff and then gave up.
You should give it a try, it’s pretty good.Originally posted by: NathuPaapi

Yeah, Ajay Devgn has a knack for remaking some movies worth to get more known.
The original Gujarati film Vash got excellent reviews...and so was it with the original Malayalam Drishyam (1+2) and the original Telugu Rajamouli film (itself based on a Buster Keaton silent movie) being Son of Sadar in the Hindi version.
Even having watched Vash (which released last year), it is a treat to watch Madhavan (whom I last could admire in Rocketry).
