A local court in Bihar's Muzaffarpur has dismissed the revision suit filed against eight Bollywood personalities, including Salman Khan, on charges of conspiracy to kill actor Sushant Singh Rajput, according to a report. Live Hindustan, HT's sister publication, said filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Aditya Chopra, Bhushan Kumar, Dinesh Vijayan and Sajid Nadiadwala were also named in the complaint.

Last year, the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) court turned down the petition filed by local lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha accusing Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar, among others, of abetting actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide. Chief Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar dismissed the petition, saying the matter is outside the court’s jurisdiction.

After this, Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed a revision suit in the district and sessions court. However, the order letter regarding the dismissal of the revision suit could not be issued. The reason for the rejection will be known once the order is issued.

According to Live Hindustan, Ekta Kapoor's advocate Priya Ranjan alias Annu has said on Thursday the revision suit filed regarding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput has been dismissed. "The complaint was lodged on the basis of baseless allegations. We are satisfied with the court's decision. The incident is outside the jurisdiction of Muzaffarpur," Ranjan said, according to Live Hindustan.

Not surprised that it was dismissed. In fact, the otherwise would have been.

Among these 8 names what surprised me most is EK's name. What did Ekta do to SSR? 😳Anyone knows any theory?

As far as I know, Ekta was the one who launched him in television in a pivotal role & then gave him lead role in the next show which made him famous. Was this guy mad at her for introducing Sushant to the Entertainment industry & giving him a taste of success in the first place? 🤔 Ultimately is it all Ekta's fault that she launched him, made him a star which encouraged him to go all the way to BW & then get tormented in the hands of BW biggies? 😳

Good thing Pitt/D'Caprio weren't named in the "FIR" or Bihar Police would've reached Los Angeles to "Investigate" and act all shocked when they weren't allowed to work. The whole case is just ridiculous and a Sh*t Show.

The lawyer who filed the petition must be very free. No real cases to handle. Needed 5 minutes of fame.

He should be freed of his license or at least significantly fined. Frivolous lawsuits like this clogging up the court system is why valid court cases languish for years in an over burdened system.
