Atrangi Re Director Aanand L Rai Tests Positive for COVID-19

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai has tested positive for COVID-19. He was currently working on his upcoming film Atrangi Re starring Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Akshay Kumar.
Rai took to his official social media handle to share the same and stated that while he has no symptoms, he is under quarantine. He also asked others who have come in his close contact to get themselves tested.
I have tested covid positive today. Just wanted to inform everyone that I don’t feel any symptoms & I feel fine. I’m quarantining as instructed by authorities. Anyone wh has come in contact with me recently is advised to quarantine & follow d govt protocols.Thank you for support.

Just a day ago, Dhanush wrapped up his schedule on sets of Atrangi Re and was spotted cutting a cake with Sara, Aanand L Rai, and more people.
The film is scheduled for cinema release worldwide on Valentine's Day 2021.
