There is an abundance of scope to celebrate Aishwarya, one of the Hindi (Indian) movie stars talked most about in international regions...
I wish her that in the next year of her life, a lot of good things will happen to her

kandukondein kandukondein is one of my fav movies. Though I had heard the songs when it released I didn’t know much abt the movie.both the couples had nice story arc.Originally posted by: RaniPreityAish
Happy Birthday to this screen goddess! One of the great icons of Indian cinema as a pan-Indian star and global icon.
Watched her Raavanan to celebrate, having found a copy with English subs. Can't speak about Singham Returns but I doubt it can hold up to a Mani Ratnam masterpiece in terms of being a contemporary Ramayana adaptation. Aish and Vikram gave incredible performances and I can see why Vikram won all the awards for his role. The movie was definitely ahead of its time, presenting the message that maybe there is more Rama in Raavan and more Raavan in Rama. I can see that not going over well for showing that both characters have shades of grey and are not plain black and white. The ending will sit with me for a while.
Will watch Kandukondain Kandukondain next, the Indian version of Sense and Sensibility. It's apparently a real classic in Tamil cinema. Didn't realize Aish and Tabu made a movie together as sisters. S&S is my favorite Jane Austen novel so it will be thrilling to see Aish playing one of my favorite literary heroines, Marianne Dashwood.
How interesting that Aish starred in two Jane Austen films.

Yes, having seen it now I thought it was a superb film. They did a good job of modernizing and Indianfying the Sense and Sensibility book. I liked both the couples and the parts dealing with the Tamil film industry.
Songs were beautifully pictured. Aish looked so ethereal in them. It's hard to pick just one movie where she looked her best but a case could easily be made for this film.
Pati parameshwar dropped a wish or no?
Happy Birthday to queen.
So did her in-laws wish her? especially her sister in laws Shweta and Shrima? What about Navya and Agastya?
someone spill the beans already!
My top ten Hindi films starring Aish. It was hard to limit it to just 10 movies.
1. Devdas
2. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
3. Kuch Naa Kaho

4. Taal
5. Kyun! Ho Gaya Na

6. Mohabbatein
7. Dil Ka Rishta

8. Dhoom 2
9. Guzaarish
10. Sarbjit
Also a shoutout to ADHM, a film I don't care for, but Aish was the only good part in it, making the film bearable. KJo should have given her a spinoff movie or just repurposed the whole film to revolve around her.
