One wrong doesnt make a right. There should be no kangaroo courts- guilt can only be established in a court of law- be it Nana or Vinod or anyone. We cannot decide a pre judged outcome - but that can be done without disrespecting or threatening the woman who has come forward.

It's a tricky balance but we need to develop it as a society if justice is needed to be done

Tell me who is following this ? The swara , the tapsee , anurag kashyap ? kangana ?

did media stop trials during NAna ? the same gang is crying foul now ... why shud we believe swara and kangana are any different.

The preachy Akhtars did not know of his creepy cousin...and expect us to believe them. They think of us as such fools.

Sajid khan was a known exhibitionist ...flashing his thing everywhere...but Akhtars never knew of their creepy relative. Mind you ...they are pally with biggest gossip mongers and yet they knew nothing.

He should be arrested honestly , not that I support me too, faminism or biased law to women but if kashyap were a common man, he would have been behind the bars then why privilege to kashyap just bcz he is celebrity?

Because the truth is not decided by Swara or Kangana- the truth is decided by due process and the pursuit of justice in a fair and balanced way.

What the social media warriors- be it Gang Tapsee/Swara or Kangana decide is just the narrative- which is obviously driven by personal biases and sometimes motives, but a strong and balanced process- where justice is truly delivered without ruining someone's life/livelihood based on rumours and hearsay or shaming a woman because she makes an allegation- is what we need to push for. And if all of us fall prey to our right wing/left wing blind spots, because the other side is doing it we WILL become a lynch mob.

I know it's the less sexy or unpopular option, but restraint is much much needed in the way we discuss and destroy people's lives and reputations so casually these days. Case in point, SSR's MeToo case.

It's the only thing keeping us tethered as a civilised society.

Again not understanding why the Akhtars are responsible for what their cousin does? I didnt see them working or associating with him after the allegations. And Farhan did condemn it. They're all adults, what more are they supposed to do? Hit him? Kill him? .Sajid and Nana were equally ostracised. Beyond this, if the woman wants justice (or multiple women) it's for them to pursue and have this investigated

Or why is Suzanne responsible for the sins of her parents? The only person who is responsible for those actions is the person themselves.

If Anurag is proved to be guilty, then he should be behind the bars. If Payal is lying then, she should go behind the bars.

The difference is none of the victims behaved like her.

There was a time when the Metoo movement started those who were scared earlier to tell their story cause neither anyone would Liston when they named those big names but the movement reach such a momentum that they took the opportunity cause people were ready to listen their Story and support or may help them.

There was a genuineness and they their story came through like that.

In her case it’s only put Anurag behind bars so confidently tagging political people and mentioning so many names to drag them too.
When she was so scared earlier why didn’t she use the opportunity when Metoo movement was on a Roll. When everyone was ready to believe any story.

This is the simple truth! No amount of good or bad they have done prior will substitute their action.
