Firstly awards bought or not, Kajol was given awards even before Kjo came in the scene. So she was already in the position that she was given awards based on her name only rather than merit. Which was the case throughout 90s for every top actor and actress.

okay for a second I believe you, her box office was only because of SRK piggybacking, but how does it equate to Kjo Alia scenario.

So your claim she became a top actress because of Kjo doesn't make sense.

DDLJ and KKHH worked because of good music more than a story

SRK and Kajol did not make both movies success

If Salman and Madhuri or amir and juhi would have done that movies it would be equal or more successful actually

If there is a movie that any actor made success with his acting only it has to be actors like sunny deol for damini, after his entry only film becomes super hit, if lawyer role was done by another actor i doubt damini would be such a success. Same way credit a nana patekar for krantiveer being a success with his acting.

DDLJ and KKHH req not much acting skills any hero heroine could do it and it would be hit because of its songs or locations etc.

In 2020 if DDLJ and KKHH release they will be flops mostly

In 1990s many movies became super hit because of songs, dresses, locations etc than a good story or acting of leads

Majority of Bollywood film lovers (outside IF) are of the opinion that Kajol and SRK chemistry is one of the best thing in Bollywood. If SRK Kajol movie are profitable despite of its mediocre script, half of the credit goes to their magical chemistry .

On topic , Kajol is not in the industry because of KJo ,also she is not his puppet like Alia . She even refused to do KANK whereas Alia's whole career is well crafted by KJo.

This. Kajol isn't the only one who benefitted from the SRKajol chemistry, they both are needed equally in the couple.

In every films she did Kajol was amazing. She is a better actress than Aloo. IMO
