Can we equate Alia and Kajol?

--- Both are extremely limited actresses who are called 'great' for no rhyme or reason

--- Both were not-so-popular but projected as the next best thing since sliced bread. Kajol was liked only for her pairing with SRK and Alia's stardom is also not organic

-- Both were given Filmfare awards for not-so-deserving performances like Gully Boy, K3G etc.

-- Both love shrieking like a banshee to prove their acting skills

Any more similarities?

Both have/ had the undying friendship and support of KJO.

Kajol is a mediocre actress, period. Her contemporaries including Juhi, Manisha, Urmila, Raveena and Rani are far ahead of her in acting.

I disagree on the account Kajol is not a puppet of Kjo like Queen. Kajol is Kjo friend and his equal. Queen is not.

Kajol is a limited actress, she can only excel in certain roles. However, Alia is an excellently versatile actress, she can play any role with perfection.

She went from doing Highway to 2 States to Humpty/Badri to UP to Dear Zindagi to Raazi to Gully Boy -all COMPLETELY different roles, she nailed all of them & she was praised by both critics & viewers. When i watch a movie of Alia, i forget she's Alia Bhatt, as she becomes the character, such is her dedication & commitment.

Kajol and KJo latched on to SRK. KJo at least branched beyond.

Kajol's "acting" was so below average, but she was KJo's first test case of shoving a nepo product down the throats of the audience while deliberately sidelining talented actresses.

Alia is Kajol of the new millenium. Same issues: mediocre acting painted as great, sidelining more talented contemporaries.
