Somebody should make a thread on male gold diggers of Bollywood. There must be many more lukkhas like nasiruddin and Saif Ali khan. Why are only women called gold diggers and men like these are spared? So not fair!

Yes they did. They were poor struggling acyors married to well settled aged women for roof and security. If that's not wrong or gold digging, then I must say they're following their religious figurehead who did the same. In that sense you can justify their actions.
