Varun Dhawan fills in for Shahid Kapoor at awards show due to health issue?

When Shahid Kapoor backed out of performing at an award show at the last minute, all was saved by none other than Varun Dhawan who decided to step in at the last minute to save the day.

“Varun was a thorough professional and saved the day by committing to this event. Despite shooting for ‘Coolie No.1’, early morning and having a long schedule he agreed to come in late and shoot his song. Varun danced to a song from ‘Street Dancer 3D’,” Times of Indiareports a source revealing,

Apparently, there were rumours of Kapoor rejecting the offer to perform at the show, due to having lost an award to Ranveer Singh for best actor. However a source from Kapoor’s team that he was unable to attend due to ill health.

Oh well, I hope he does' get well soon' from whatever the 'illness' is...

(In fact he got in a sulk over the award, went home and announced his fans he's not feeling well..but still posted about being'most searched' and 'boom!' whatever whatever😆.OK..)

#One man's loss is another man's gain- cause Varun gets now to perform and gets paid for it. Maybe he also takes over presenting duties (at least the part where Sahid 'suddenly fell ill' 😆).
