It is the season of biopics and content-driven cinema and Madhur Bhandarkar has always been one of the few film-makers who is known for dealing with the real-life subjects. Priyanka Chopra starrer Fashion and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Heroine are testimony to the fact. Now, we have exclusively learnt that the film-maker is in the process of writing a movie on star wives which will be loosely based on the lives of Gauri Khan, Mira Rajput and Twinkle Khanna, all of whom are as famous as their better halves.
A source informs, "Madhur is currently writing a script based on the star wives and looking forward to translating it to celluloid. The movie will be titled Bollywood Wives. The script will highlight them in not-so-good light. When contacted Madhur, his official spokesperson responded saying that Madhur has only registered the title for it and has no plans to take it forward. But our source claims otherwise. Will you be looking forward to seeing this realistic cinema?
Meanwhile, Madhur was also in talks with Shah Rukh Khan for a movie which was supposed to be based on Inspector Ghalib. The film based on land mafia has not been announced but speculations around it continue to make news.
