It's going to be two years this May since Sunny Deol started shooting for his next directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas which marks the debut of his elder son Karan Deol. The actor-director is apparently so concerned about his son's launch vehicle that he is shooting and reshooting portions to bring perfection to every single scene. Fully aware of the responsibility of launching his son, Sunny is working hard and trying his best to ensure that Karan gets a perfect launch.

And to make sure that the film has been shot exactly the way he had visualized, Sunny is not giving a damn to the budget. Peepingmoon.com has learnt that Sunny has added another 10 crores to the budget of this film making it one of the most expensive Hindi film starring newcomers. A source close to Deol says, "Sunny had a blockbuster debut with Betaab (1983) and he wants the same kind of big, successful entry for his son. He check the footage in the edit, makes a list of corrections and plans his next schedule. It's never a wrap-up as he wants everything to be perfect which is completely understandable and applaudable actually because, at the end of the day, this one, in particular, is a Sunny Deol film as he's quite clear from the beginning as to how he wants to launch his son.

The film which is said to be an emotional love saga set in the snowy landscapes of Northern India was earlier supposed to hit theatres on Valentine's Day this year but it's now been postponed as the shooting is still not completed. As per a source, the makers are now planning to release it in June 2019. "The next schedule begins in Mumbai on 8th or 9th January where they will shoot for around 10-12 days. After the Mumbai schedule, Sunny will go to the US along with Rocky (as Karan Deol is fondly called) to shoot a leopard sequence there.

As soon as the film is officially wrapped, Sunny is planning to reveal the first look of the film, the source adds. "A huge promotional campaign is being planned to introduce Karan to the glam world and it's going to be grand. Sunny and his close aides recently visited Zee Studios to discuss how they should market the film. Sunny had brought some stills from the Manali shoot and they were stunning. They are planning to release the first look very soon.

Some people have money to burn. Nepotism rocks !
He should have just done what the other stars do and beg KJo for some role. it would have saved him some money. AFAIK Anil also put money into Myrzyia- hasburden's debut.. and we know how that went...

Deol's launch their own. It's a "tradition". They said No to both YRF & Dharma.

That said, Sunny Deol is stuck in the past and is going to ruin this guys career before it even starts and now extra financial pressure.

^^ Oh, okay...
Didn't know that.
Well if Karan is like Dharmendra.. I am all up for it.. but yeah... with Sunny stuck in the 90's and 2000's... who knows what the end result will be.

I really wish Indian movies held auditions and started giving everyone EQUAL opportunity. So no 'nepo' kids, no outsiders are favoured... just win the darn audition on TALENT AND DEDICATION to the craft.

I dont think the film is turning out very well. Back in May I think there was news that the boy had hurt his knee during filming in Manali and was getting treated in the local Mohali Fortis.

A dad is doing everything possible to make his son a superstar but people would still find something wrong with it but they have no issues when other nepo kids use PR to put down others.
