She has not foregone her name or her identity as priyanka chopra. Or the body of work she created under that brand. Brand pc. Brand her. She is still working. Has her own career.

If she one day has a baby and calls her herself that baby's mother on social media would that make her lose her identity? She got married to a guy and for a couple of days she likes to feel that yes I am his wife. Its a nice feeling. Celebrities have their rights to post things on social media like anyone else. Public figures or not...they too have their emotions. Plus its not even like she has foregone Chopra and become mrs. Jonas only.

IMO she is just being a newly wed bride.

People have better sense than to not realise that. I do not see any hypocrisy here neither do I see why male chauvinists would suddenly use a new bride's ramblings as social standard for women and their surnames after marriage.
