Christmas releases have the best multipliers. Diwali ones are the worst. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil like Bajirao has an inflated multiplier because the clash hurt their opening weekends.

Yeah, I didn't notice. All these small movies crossing 100 cr. Before 2018, Barfi is the only small unlikely film to cross 100 cr. 2012 was the last time, small movies did so well. And the two Khan movies down to the bottom 2 in weekend to lifetime. Zero doesn't even qualify. Hopefully, this year is when Bollywood gets it. 😆

So I re-watched The Prestige after several years last week and have a couple of questions. I din't want to make a new topic so I thought I might as well post it here 😆 So back then when I watched the film, I thought one of the most popular theories was that Angier died the very first time he used the Tesla machine because the real Angier was teleported and the clone ended up killing the original Angier (he is about to say something but shot before that). And subsequently a clone died every night he performed. But then I came across this other theory recently that Angier was conned and the Tesla machine was in fact defective. The one who died on the fatal night was in fact his double (for which Alfred was convicted). But that doesn't explain a lot of scenes in the film cos Cutter did see the dead body of Angier (or rather his clone) and the closing frame of the film also shows an Angier clone in the cylinder. Another question I have- did Sarah find out that they were twins before her suicide? I always assumed she was just sick of his bipolarity which lead her to lose her head and eventually end her life. But Olivia talks about how Sarah wanted to reveal some truth to her before her death. So what is the most plausible theory? I don't think the 'twin reveal' is the only major twist in the climax. There is more to it than the reveal and Borden ending the apparent cycle of Angier clones. but a lot of theories I read online just don't fit. Anyone who has watched the film please contribute 😆

P.S. I know its an old film and a lot of people might have got sick of trying to formulate theories by now but I re-watched it recently and obviously paid more attention this time around and can't get it out of my head for some reason 😆
