When your favorite gets off the hook..

well court has never convicted him...

well your non favorite gets off the hook

i dont believe in indian courts

lol..no i dont mean it for any member...almost everyone selectively uses these things

anyway i am with u...he has been through courts..got punishment...add to it my personal take on this person ...i will never believe this nonsense rubbish that he wanted to kill his own countrymen

correlation and association are different concepts..he was correlated this incident as he was friends with these people (LIKE MANY OTHER) but that does not mean he was associated with the blast. this is was court saw maybe...court does not decide on emotions and ur wishes and khwaish and agendas. lol

It's actually shameful that people watched this movie despite everyone knowing it whitewashed him. Good heed paid to the bomb blast victims :))))

Depends on what charges you are talking about
Innocent regarding drug addiction? No
Innocent of cheating on wife? No
Innocent of keeping illegal arms? No
Innocent with respect to terrorism charges" Don't know

Taking drugs or even cheating is not punishable by law, most of Bollywood does both of the things, even Sanjay dutt said this an interview, that most of Bollywood is into drugs now. As for illegal arms? he only got into that mess because the producers who supplied him the guns, trapped him by tipping off the police, it was all a conspiracy theory, political parties and the underworld got back at Sunil dutt by using his son. He suffered due to political crap, he may not have suffered like this if his father would not have been a politician. Also at that time half of Bollywood ran through the underworld, that's how his movie producers had illegal arms and gave it to him, he suffered due to a bad phase in Bollywood, now days underworld is hardly connected to Bollywood.

In no way does the movie encapsulate the actual life of Sanjay or changes my perception of who Sanjay Dutt is, to me he is and will always be a person who had some hand in the blasts... he very well knew and had connections with those people.
As a Mumbaikar will always hate Sanjay and cannot forgive him even if he blames the entire universe for his choice.[/BR]

ICAM DC. I wanna watch it for Ranbeer too. But I'm conflicted over this whole whitewashing shit.
He kept arms illegally.
He knew the people involved in the blasts.

No way was he an innocent bystander. His Dad and sister's political clout helped him. But unlike some BW criminals, he did pay for his sins. Still...cannot digest this "innocent man-child" drivel being forced down our throats. Hypocrites! The bunch of them!

And yeah, I used to be a fan of his movies. :(

Everyone from Bollywood knew the people from the underworld, doesn't mean all of Bollywood was involved in the blasts, what logic.

Innocent of what? That is the bigger question.
I never thought Sanjay Dutt was a terrorist conspirator.

But did he have friendships with the underworld? Did he do favors for criminals? Did he possess illegal arms? All these questions have a resounding YES as an answer. Being absolved of terrorism does not mean you are not a criminal. Sanjay Dutt befriended, aided, and abetted criminals. He knew exactly what he was doing and then acted innocent when caught.

Could he have unwittingly helped terrorists? That is a possibility. With his underworld connections, he could have. But it has never been thoroughly explored.

He got trapped, the producers of the movie trapped him, the underwold was angry that he doesn't pay them money, and the opposing party of Sunil dutt also made sure that Sanjay gets the worst kind of punishment and gets a title of a terrorist, to get back at Sunil dutt, it is all very political. Sanjay says that all of this was done to break him. Read his confession, even after the assault Sanjay didn't say anything that could deem him a terrorist, neither did they have any proof against him, yet the corrupt police and judiciary did this to him.
