In no way does the movie encapsulate the actual life of Sanjay or changes my perception of who Sanjay Dutt is, to me he is and will always be a person who had some hand in the blasts... he very well knew and had connections with those people.

As a Mumbaikar will always hate Sanjay and cannot forgive him even if he blames the entire universe for his choice..

If you are so convinced about him being involved then it makes you a traitor and hypocrite for watching this movie, even if it was ranbir, because even ranbir is in full support of glorifying Sanjay, he loves him, all the people who believe Sanjay is a traitor and watched the movie are hypocrites who are only helping in glorifying him further.

Well said @bollywoodlaver...very well said ...πŸ‘

What about the law? TADA charges were put off, what about the fact there is no proof?

On bold, this is the reason I decided to skip a Hirani movie for the first time. I may not be a traitor, but I will defenitely be a hypocrite.

Hopefully, Hirani will not pick biopics of grey people anymore, when he does not have the honesty of Mahesh Bhatt. (Arth was a semi autobiography. But he never presented himself as a likeable person).
Or at least put a diclaimer, this is a fiction story which has used some non fiction part. (Movie makers do it for historicals anyway. Just extend it to contemporary movies as well).
