IDK if he was actually involved or not but he was/is a shitty human being. I don't buy this justification of mera raja beta toh accha tha, logo ne bigaad diya.

What surpises me is the director tried to blame the circumstances as if sanjay is innocent bachha and kept illegal arms thinking as water guns ...and know nothing whats going on around him ! Awww !

Well nobody really knows. I just know I got to know about Sanju's side of the story for the first time. I also know Indian media is totally shit. One more fact is he was not charged under the Terrorism act rather Arms act. I also know for sure he has been imprisoned for that. So these are facts and truth. I think he was immature and stupid. But the way he came out of his scary drug addiction is inspirational.

I have no intention of watching Sanju, i believe he should be hanged for his role in Mumbai blast and not making movies.

If he was innocent he wouldn't have been convicted. A commoner would have received far worse punishment. But life balances it out for everyone. A commoner couldn't have used money and power to escape law and the media didn't let Dutt escape the law either.

Sanjay dutt committed crimes and he somewhat paid for it but whats worse is the disregard and injustice commited through whitewashing dutt's crimes by hirani to the innocent lives lost in the bombast is rewarded in 100s of crores...people are going gaya over it as if its a movie based on not a terrorist but on some revolutionary hero🥱

Agar hirani nahi karta toh koi aur karta. Woh baat alag hai that he wouldnt be able to get these numbers. Hirani was clever enough to create so much hype about this film. I say it again, id find those ppl foolish who argue for Sanjay Dutt after watching this movie.

As for the truth, there are conflicting opinions as far as i am concerned and even when one thinks logically, itd be foolish of tiger memon and his allies to reveal their terror plan to sanju owing to his dad's politician status unless his dad was also part of the conspiracy. Then again, one question arises... why would he keep such dangerous weapons for self defence? So im guessing he just knew part of the truth n not the whole truth. Whatever it is, the film doesnt really clear anything since ppl will always hv a doubt as to whether what was shown was the truth.

He was initially arrested under TADA but Sunil Dutt begged Bal Thackrey and Sanjay Dutt was released. As a courtesy Sunil Dutt did not stand for LS election. Sunil Dutt was mightily pissed with Sharad Pawar CM who did not helped him.

Sanjay Dutt completely got away because of his political connection hence was charged with Arms Act which carried lesser punishment. Judge can only give judgement based on charge sheet.
