Varun Dhawan to star in the Hindi remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy?.

Varun Dhawan is amongst the successful
actors in the current lot with no flops under
his name. The actor is getting approached
for some interesting films and in different
genres - action, comedy and romance.
As reported by a leading tabloid, he is being
considered to play the lead role in the Hindi
remake of the Telugu superhit film Arjun
Reddy. The film was apparently passed over
by Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
This film will again bring Sajid Nadiadwala
and Varun Dhawan together after their
2017 superhit Judwaa 2. A source stated,
"The film is currently being scripted and will
be amended to suit Bollywood's audience. It
revolves around a philandering, alcoholic,
drug addict, a surgeon who falls in love with
an innocent medical student. Dhawan, who
is currently busy with YRF's Sui Dhaaga, will
have to sport a leaner look for the part."
The Hindi remake will be helmed by Arjun
Reddy director Sandeep Vanga. It is
expected to go on floors by mid-2018.

Currently, Varun is prepping for his next film
Sui Dhaaga - Made In India. In this film, he
will be working with Anushka Sharma for
the first time.
He will also be seen in Shoojit Sircar's
October. The shooting of the film was
completed last year. About October, he had
said, "It feels amazing. We wrapped up the
film in 38 days. October is more than a film
to me. I don't want to say much about it, but
this film has definitely impacted me so much
as a human being. I think it has definitely
changed me as a human being."
October is slated to release on April 13,
2018.
