Sorry guys, but as I said yesterday Karan Patel is the "current SRK of Indian television. Infact, if I'm not wrong, he has been called the SRK of Television in the presence of SRK and was then awarded. So, I guess that ends it. (Not my opinion, but the opinion of Television viewers that is widely accepted.)
Coming to Barun, I liked him as Arnav and it stopped there. I don't know how anyone could pick IPK3 up when the promos themselves endorsed mental harassment and torture of the heroine as love. Burning someone and then pretending to save someone, or rescuing someone after you let the "burning Ravan" almost fall on her isn't love. It can never be love. And jo matter what, such relationships can't be endorsed openly. This is like glorifying the relationship in Saubhagyavati Bhava (domestic abuse). You just can't glorify abuse of any can't because not even redemption can make up for it. Ever.
Coming to yesterday thread some random user claimed that I was a Sanaya fanbot because I said that every episode of IPKKND1 was watchable, and then claimed that the Arnav kidnapping and other episodes were unwatchable (because of absence of Barun). So not to be a hater or anything, I just want to ask this glorious person who the absence of the lead actor is to be blamed on? It's not like Sanaya kidnapped him and tied him up in a corner somewhere just so she could solely lead a by then widely successful show. Then again, I don't get blind worship, idolisation and hatred without name or reason, forgive me.
Finally, when it comes to IPK3 failure, I'm sorry but it will remain a failure until someone takes Gul off the show though it's her own show. Atleast Ishqbaaz had a base before they started making the characters wear rags on a daily basis but even if the show was good IPK3 reeks unwatchable. With the multiple pans, dramatic music, horrible outfits, lack of plot line, character analysis or anything that a good show needs. It's like the creative woke up one day and decided to have a show and abruptly had it with the theme abusive male lead, meek female lead, blah blah. Khatam. And then decided to work on what they wanted the show to be when it went on air. When om reality creative spend months or years discussing a plot line and writing it in concrete so that they can hopefully milk it for the next five years or decade. That's how daily soaps, (7 days airtime for Star Plus) work. So it's not like Barun doesn't work, he could. But it's just that his show is a nightmare to watch and it's not his fault. And Shivani, the less I say, the better it is.
