Throwback Video: Sanjay Dutt Gets Trolled For Defining Mardangiri' In a Regressive Fashion
In an old video that has recently taken internet by storm, actor Sanjay Dutt is seen setting out machismo standards for the men out there. The campaign called Mardangiri' is a part of an Ad he had shot way back in 2008.
Spelling out the parameters to be a true mard' , the 57-year-old actor has urged men to spend time in "gyms" and not in "beauty parlours", to wear "blue, black and grey shirts" instead of "pink and purple t-shirts."
The actor also says, "Let's not shave or wax our legs and chest, let's grow beard and stubbles."
The Munna Bhai MBBS' star in addition advices "men to watch cricket and football and not stupid serials about in-laws" as a sign of manliness.
Clearly defining manliness, Dutt is asking men to not emasculate themselves.
In the end he says, "This is the new kranti I want to start for men... it's mardangiri."
Too hard on mard's, isn't he?

Its actually a snippet from a Haywards 5000 soda ad, where he speaks about a new kind of "dushman" or enemy: the metrosexual man, who gets facials, who likes to dress up and keep long mane, and basically a man who poses as a threat to gender-obsessed, frustrated men who have nothing more than their supposed masculinity to boast about.
