I have but a vague memory about the case. When the shooting happened, both Saif and Salman and all the ladies were implicated. The next day Nawab Mansour Pataudi air dashed to RJ and by evening Saif's name was not there in the complaint form and he was brought back home.

The ladies were acquitted because they were there as watchers and did not shoot. Rumor was that it was actually Saif's gun that killed Blackbuck.. It has remained a rumor

That is absolutely not true. Saif, and the 3 actresses have been indicted again as recently as 2013

Fresh charges were on Saturday read out against actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam by a court here in the 14-year-old blackbuck poaching case.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Chandrakala Jain read out the charges under sections 9/51 and 9/52 of Wildlife protection Act and 149 of IPC and posted the case for next hearing on April 27.

The actors denied the charges read out to them by the judge.

Salman Khan was also supposed to appear in the court but failed to do so.

The High Court had revised the charges against the actors in December 2012, charging Salman Khan with section 51 of Wildlife Protection Act and others including a local accused Dushyant Singh with section 51/52 of Wildlife Protection Act and section 149 of IPC.

They are accused of poaching two Blackbucks in the intervening night of October 1 and 2, 1998 in Kankani village near Jodhpur during the shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain.

Blackbuck is a protected animal and hunting or poaching of the same is a punishable offence under law.

A court in Jodhpur Saturday read out charges against four Bollywood stars, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Saif Ali Khan, in the 14-year-old case of blackbuck poaching while shooting for a film. Salman Khan is also charged in the case but was not present at the hearing.

The poaching allegedly occurred during the shooting of Rajshri Productions Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998.

Chief Judicial Magistrate CK Jain read out charges one by one against all of the film starts, except Salman Khan, also an accused, who had sought exemption from the court on the ground that he had to be out of the country for medical treatment.

"Salman Khan was not present in the court today (Saturday) as he in not in the country and has gone overseas for treatment," said his counsel Hastimal Saraswat.

The charges have been framed under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972 relating to hunting and inciting to poach blackbucks.

If found guilty, the actors face imprisonment of up to six years.

These actors, however, denied all the charges.

The court has fixed April 27 as next date of hearing.

The case was filed against these actors for poaching of blackbucks in 1998 in Kankni village near Jodhpur.

The blackbuck is a protected animal under the Wildlife Protection Act

She is actually asking some legit questions..
She isn't entirely questioning the acquittal but how prominent was Salman's role in the case and how did the other five blinded themselves from the incident entirely.
Its mind-boggling how weak our judiciary is?

finally some one who read it as it is.
Renuka is questioning from all directions.
she is not necessarily pointing fingers at any one other than the system it self.

is someone did it, then why they were not included or punished
if no one did it, why one person had to suffer this long.

A car is not the only way Salman can kill somebody you see. He could do it with a car. He could do it with a rifle. He is very adaptable being when it comes to killing. Pagla kahi ka.

She has put it beautifully and is raising some very pertinent questions...only if there was someone to listen in India...people are so blinded by various things... 😳
