If you are saying that in reference to his legal woes, then Sanjay is still doing films for the same reason Salman is still doing films.

it doesn't really matter if the actress is older than the hero as long she looks young, same applies for heroes and that's the thing here, akki, sallu can easily romance sonakshi because they don't look that old. Visually its fine while if madhuri romances ranbir, it would look weird because u can clearly see the age difference, that's the thing women age faster.

the problem would only be if they overlook the age factor. If they mention it which they will and if the movie is about an old man falling in love with a young girl then where is the problem? U want an older actress for this role which doesn't suit her?

same goes for srk alia film, we don't know what role he is playing, lets wait and watch.

also shraddha isn't finalized, she might not have dates. I'd be surprised if she signs this, some other b grade actress will probably end up doing it but I'd be happy if shraddha does it, hoping the script is good.

Some of my most favorite movies and books like Jane Eyre, Daddy Long Legs and My Fair Lady have a large age gap. But it made sense and was treated with respect to both. It can even be a slightly unnerving movie like Lolita or the Graduate. Gwyneth and Michael Douglas movie 'A Perfect Murder' is an example of the actor being the actress's father's friend and watching her grow up. MD talked about telling her dad about going to act with his daughter and it was a rather funny but awkward conversation. That movie made perfect sense. But rarely in BW do we have those kind of scripts. So I am willing to suspend my disbelief because it is Sanju and hope he chooses a good script. If it is the same old crap in a new bottle that they justify with for the age gap well...🤔

yeah it all depends on the writer and director. We can't just have a mention like he is older and that's it like in policegiri or like in bewafa, there needs to be more.

there was a good script for sanju and kareena, the movie was named 'ek ajeeb prem kahani'

I was so looking forward to that but unfortunately it was never made.

in that movie also sanju was playing an old guy to kareena, I mean like in his 50's and that was 13yrs ago when he was in his 40's and looked much younger and was playing lead roles with half his age girls.

he also played a father to hrithik in mission kashmir, he was only 40, so he doesn't really have a problem with it unlike anil or sunny, the thing is, it all depends on the director and the script.

sids 'salaam namaste' was good, the rest i didn't like that much, hopefully it would be good, lets see
